Use case / next build
Turn prototype feedback into one useful comparison.
Several observations often arrive together after a first build. A next-build brief helps prevent one untested explanation from becoming a whole-product redesign.
A decision you can test
Illustrative situation: a bag carries well, but access to the main compartment slows down when it is full.
- Decision
- Find out whether the access path or packing arrangement causes the delay.
- Keep
- Preserve the carry geometry that worked in the first use check.
- Compare
- Use the same load and task to compare the current opening with one revised opening path.
- Evidence to collect
- Capture the actual sequence, time or friction observed, and any loss of weather coverage or item retention.
- Conditional next step
- Advance the revised opening only if it improves access without creating a worse constraint. Otherwise, test packing arrangement before another pattern change.
- What this result means
- The brief states what to build and observe next; it does not claim the issue has been solved.
Your project will have different constraints.
Start with the observation, the intended use, and any sample, photo, supplier reply, or test result you have. Lynx can recommend a next step; you decide what to adopt and what must be checked in the physical build.
What is the next decision holding up your build?

Technical softgoods, with the product owner in charge.
LynxWorks.AI is a founder-led product development service focused on technical softgoods, including packs, bags and sewn gear. Bring a current decision, supplier proposal or sample observation. Receive a reviewable recommendation and a next-step brief, with its evidence limits kept visible.
For a first project, contact founder Jarvis at jarvis@lynxworks.ai. A brief is not engineering certification, a factory approval or a guarantee of physical performance.
